Nothing new to report...we're still working on bottle feeding. She's up to 68 cc, and she needs to finish her bottles in under 20 min. before they'll let her have any more.
The past few days, she has been awake nearly ALL day. She will catnap for a few minutes here and there, but never really gets into a deep sleep. She is soooo afraid of missing something. Her eyelids will start to droop and she'll get still, then she wakes herself back up. The nurse last night said that she slept from about 9pm until her 2 am feeding, then went back to sleep until her 5 am feeding.
This afternoon, I had to prop her up in her Boppy, close the window shade, pull the room curtain and leave the room before she would settle down. She's gotten to where if she's being held, she will NOT sleep. Sometimes even if she can see me, she won't go to sleep. She loves being held, or at least having people around her talking. It's odd to me to think that she's growing up. She doesn't sleep all the time, and she's starting to be able to make deliberate moves with her arms and legs. I've been reading up on what 4-month-old babies should be able to do. She's a little off, but she's really only been able to move kind of freely for a month now. Hopefully by 5 months, we'll be HOME! (On Monday, they said we'd be home in about 2 weeks.....but I'll believe it when we're on our way out the door with her!)
