We all survived the first day of daycare. She cried when I left, and I cried when I left. She cried a few more times, but managed to take almost an hour nap and watched the other 2 kids a lot. She wouldn't eat anything, but I'm not surprised b/c when there's so much new stuff to look at, she doesn't eat well. I worried all morning, and left to go pick her up as soon as I finished with my last class. (I'm not worried about the care she receives, just about her crying the whole time.)

After that, we had another ENT appoitment. He scoped her and was able to see below the vocal cords this time. She still has some enlargement (subglottic stenosis), but it's not causing her any problems, so we'll wait until she outgrows it. Her stridor has reappeared when her "allergies" flare up, but it goes away once her head clears up. All of her doctors refuse to say she has allergies. When anyone close by mows, for example, she gets congested....which makes me think allergies. Today Dr. Rohn said "things in the air can cause irritation, but it's too soon to say it's an allergy." I'm still a bit confused by the distinction, but I guess they have the medical degrees, not me. If she continues to have problems, we can get some steroids to help. I plan to ask her pedi. tomorrow. We won't have to go back until November.

Tomorrow we have a weight check in Rowlett. It should be pain-free, assuming the office is running on schedule.
