Here is Katie's newest toy. It's really for her birthday, but it was so nice out today, I couldn't wait. Besides, I figure that for this year, it won't make much difference when she gets her birthday presents.
We got Easter ducks again this year. (When they're big enough, we'll put them out on the tank.) This picture was right before she grabbed the duck by the bill. Both ducklings are still nameless (I'm open to suggestions.)
This is the other baby duck. It's a bit smaller than the yellow one.
Katie was not a fan of the ducks at first. I think the duck running around scared her. She hasn't gotten upset over them since this picture.
My little cowgirl....the hat is evidently much more fun to chew on than to wear.

Awww you can honestly say she is a Lady Texan with her pretty hat on. Thanks for sharing the pictures!! Always a great way to start my week with Katie smiles!!!!

The laundry basket has always been an attraction for climbing in!!!! Wait until she tries to climb into a brown paper bag. She seems to have adjusted well to the ducks, at least when we were there Saturday. She hadn't actually seen anything smaller than herself before, had she?
