First, I want to thank everyone who has donated to Katie's March for Babies team. I'm working on more personal thank-you's, but we really do appreciate it! I'm looking forward to the Walk. The birthday party didn't go as planned, but hopefully the Walk will go better! I've been a bit scattered as far as organizing the Walk, but if there's anyone who would like to join us, you're welcome to come! I'm placing the t-shirt order on Monday. I'm excited to see the actual shirts, and even more excited to see everyone wearing them at the Walk!

Yesterday, I went back to working on Katie's baby book and scrap book. I haven't looked at all of her NICU stuff since shortly after we brought her home. Between sifting through the old pictures and NICU "trinkets", and preparting for the March of Dimes, and Katie turnng 1, a lot has hit me. One of the big reasons I've kept the blog going is so I can keep track of her progress. In looking back through the early entries, it almost seems like I'm reading about someone else.

Katie has outgrown her baby swing. She can move around enough that she manage to take a header out of it the other night-she scared her momma to death. So, since she can escape buckled in AND with the bar across her, no more swing. I washed everything and took it apart this afternoon. I can't bring myself to get rid of it- partly because Katie used it so much and partly because if I start getting rid of baby stuff, that means I have no hope of another baby. Much to Kevin's protest, I'll probably stick it up in the attic.

I'll put up some more pictures early in the week. I've got to make sure I've got everything ready for school tomorrow. Thanks for checking in!
