Katie loves to "work". Whenever I pull out papers to grade, or try to work on any school stuff, she wants to be in the middle of it, literally. I've started giving her paper and crayons. She prefers a pencil, though.

A few other tidbits:

• Katie is getting her own carpet square at daycare for circle time. The older kids have circle time during the day, and Katie has been insisting on joining them instead of playing on her own.
• We're learning "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". She's still into mimicing, so she's getting it pretty well. Sometimes she likes to point to my parts instead of hers.
• When she talks on her phone, she'll hold it with her shoulder now.
