Katie is doing much better now. She's still congested, but is back to being herself. I haven't really posted in a while, so here are some new things she's doing:
  • giving kisses without me having to ask her, especially at bedtime (It's about the sweetest thing ever. I'll tuck her in and kiss her, then she has to pop up and give me a kiss after I lay down.)
  • running (see clips below)
  • pulling out the kitchen and dresser drawers, then either climbing in a drawer, or climbing up them
  • climbing bookshelves like a ladder
  • making her toy animals "walk"
  • jumping on her mattress
  • examining belly buttons
  • saying Momma (this started when she was sick, but it was mamamamamamamamamama over and over agin in a puiny sick voice)
  • blowing her nose (sometimes with a tissue, sometimes without)
  • drinking with a straw (can't remember if I posted that yet or not)
  • announcing ahead of time when she needs to toot or poop (I know this sounds weird, but I'm hoping it will make potty training smoother. )

Here are some quick clips of Katie moving around. They're not great, but maybe you can get an idea...

I got a letter in the mail today saying that Katie has been approved for her RSV shot. I either pestered enough people or the insurance lady took pity on us. Either way, I now have it in writing that they will cover 5 shots, which should get us through flu season in Feb.
