We had our ENT appointment this afternoon. We didn't really get any big news. He said she still has a floppy airway, although not as bad as it was, and the area around her vocal cords is inflamed. The inflamation is causing her vocal cords to not open as much as they should be able to. He seems to think the inflamation is due to reflux, but I question that b/c since we've been on the soy formula, she doesn't spit up near as much, and she is a lot more comfortable. At this point, we're going to wait another 2 months and see if she continues to improve on her own.

While we were at the hospital, we stopped by to visit the NICU. We got to see one of our favorite nurses and the RT who delivered Katie. It was kind of a strange feeling being back in that part of the hospital. I was glad we all got to leave!
