I really need to be cleaning my messy house, but right now, posting is more appealing. I've got all day tomorrow.

I'm having to get used to my baby being semi-mobile now. I've told some people this, but she can now roll across the room. We were playing on the floor in her bedroom, and I left for no more than 2 min. for a potty break. I almost panicked, b/c Katie wasn't where I left her. I scanned the room; no Katie. Then I heard her and saw an arm sticking out from under the changing table. I have no idea how she maganed to get underneath it. If you looked at her, and the opening, you wouldn't think she would fit, but she did. I know that is just the beginning.

As she can do more and more, I marvel at how much she can do. I remember the time when we were taking things one breath at a time, and each breath she took by herself was a major accomplishment. Now she's ooching around in her walker and bouncing in her Jumperoo. I still don't think she realizes that she's making it move, but she likes it.

Katie's other "new thing" is she has learned the "throw my toy on the floor and mom picks it up" game. It's even more fun if the toy makes noise when it hits the ground.

One other little note- I now know why the Pampers diapers are called "Swaddlers" and "Cruisers". (For those who don't buy diapers, "Swaddlers" are for little, non-mobile babies, and "Cruisers" are for crawling babies.) Swaddlers bunch up between her legs, then leak when she pees. I can't get the Cruisers yet b/c she's not big enough. Once I run out of this bunch, I think I'll experiment with other brands. I just realized that nobody probably cares about her diapers, but oh, well.

I guess I better tackle the cleaning....Unless I can find something else to distract me...
