I don't know how many people will find these video clips interesting, but here they are. Her teething is in full gear, b/c she goes through periods when she is super slobbery (you'll see what I mean in the 2nd one). The first one shows her crawling progress. She can kind of hold her top half up now. (The other clip is at the bottom of this post.....it was having problems loading right after the first clip, so I had to put it at the bottom.)
Right now, she's playing with her feet and listening to my favorite Christmas CD. I know I'll get made fun of, but it's Dolly and Kenny....Katie seems to like it:-) A long time ago, I saw some Christmas special they did, and I was convinced that Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers were Mrs. and Santa Claus. I had it all figured out....they sang during the year to earn money to pay for all those toys and presents. Anyhow, first I had a record, then a tape, now the CD. I know Kevin wishes something bad would happen to the CD, but I have back-ups just in case.
I really don't know what to get Katie for Christmas. I want her first Christmas to be special, but I don't know what to do. She's beginning to outgrow her 0-3 month clothes, so I'll probably get some clothes. We have all the big stuff we need, and I'm hesitant to buy a lot of toys, b/c she already has plenty. She's really more interested in her socks, burp towels, and crinkle toys. Anyhow, I'm open to ideas....

ReplyDeleteShe is looking more and more like her Mommy. Especially the one in her walker. Reminds me so much of you the first time I saw you. You were older but the eyes and the smile are so similar! good memories.
And Looking at all your little angels smiles I think she has what she wants for Christmas. A good Mommy to keep her happy.

Jess, the best thing you can give your little girl for Christmas is your love and attention. You are already doing that! She needs that more than toys, etc. She wouldn't have come as far as she has without your love, time and caring heart.....yours and Kevin's!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at the Dolly and Kenny comments....guess Kevin likes them as much as Angie likes John Denver and Anne Murray!!!!! Hang in there, and keep your back ups handy.
