This is what Katie was doing when I got home today. For about a week now, she's been really interested in her feet. A few days ago, she discovered how to pull off her socks. Now she can kick off her socks and pull them off with her hands.
Yesterday at Katie's RSV shot, the scale said she weighs 11 lbs 9 oz (with her clothes on). I still worry about how small she is, especially when I see other babies who are many months younger, and many pounds heavier. Tomorrow we have the developmental appointment. We should know more about where she is compared to a "normal" baby after tomorrow.
I try hard not to wish away my time, but I really wish it were the weekend already. I'm beat. I didn't even realize Thanksgiving was next week until last Monday. For so long, I've only looked a week ahead on my calendar. I've had some obligation everyday this week. That means the holidays are getting closer! I have no idea what to get Katie for her first Christmas. I don't want to get a bunch of stuff she can't really play with yet, but I want it to be special.
Speaking of Katie, her attention span in the swing is apparently up. I'll post some more pictures later this weekend.
